After taking an outstanding victory against team Angaur on the opening night of the 2009 PVF, team Bungi’i continued their onslaught on their following challenger; team Islanders, with impressive scores on the best of three sets match played on the next day of the competition which placed them on top spot for team standings.
Four teams joined the on-going tournament namely Team Angaur led by their team captain, Celine while being sponsored by Angaur State Government; Team Islanders headed by Sorella Smau sponsored by Peleiu State Government; Team Barbies guided by Vanessa Salii and Team Bungi’i steered by Viola Dilbuil Kanai.Games that are being played as of press time are Barbies against Team Bungi’i for opening match while Angaur faces Islanders. On Wednesday, Bungi’i faces a re-match with team Islanders on first game while team Angaur tries to win once more against team Barbies that is played for the second game.
