As head of the committee from 2003 to 2005, Ada said they were very successful in enlisting the participation of contestants from different nationalities.
For this year’s search, Ada said the island’s ethnic organizations are not limited to just one representative each.
The application forms for the annual pageant may now be picked up at the Saipan Mayor’s Office.

Ada said she wants to remind the parents of contestant that strict compliance with the agreement between the committee and the contestants will be observed.
Last year, Kaylynn Lizama Sablan was crowned Liberation Queen, besting three other contestants — Luciann Marie M. Indalecio, Carley V. Laniyo and Haoting Zhang Romolor.
The application forms for booth concessions at the festival grounds are now available at the governor’s office.
Mayor Juan B. Tudela, who has been designated as the grand marshal for this year’s Liberation Day activities, said the kickoff ceremony is scheduled for June 5.
The Liberation Day activities will be held from June 6 to July 6 at the Garapan Fishing Base across from the Kristo Rai Church.
