The second try out according to RGA’s Jess I.Wabol will be on July 5 at the Marianas Country Club in Marpi.
The check-in time for this Sunday’s try out will be 11 a.m., and the tee time, 12 noon.
Wabol said the try out is open to any golfers who wants to join the national team that will join the Mini Games on September.
At least five of the golf associations in the CNMI are sending their members to the try outs.
Aside from RGA, the Saipan Golfers Association, Exclusive Golfers Association and Rota Golf Club have members who have signed up for the tryout.
RGA President Jordam Kosam has earlier said the CNMI national golf team will be composed of a maximum of five members and a minimum of two.
The Northern Marianas Amateur Sports Association, he added will subsidize the travel cost for the team and for the rest of the needed money, the organizers will hold fundraising events.
The organizers encourage all golfers from Rota, Tinian and Saipan to take the advantage of the open try outs.
