Promoted were 10 from the kindergarten class; 13 sixth graders; and seven 8th graders.
Christina Carulla, the top student of the eighth grade class, said she learned a lot from their teachers and came to realize that “we are not even halfway done with our education.”
“I learned that education is a circle. We are going to go round and round learning new things but it will be just adding up to what we already know,” Carulla said.
Rose Marie Lizama was the second best student among the eighth graders, while Jane Rhee was the third.
Iris Yu, the top student of the sixth grade class, said LISS motivated her in many ways.
“Not only did they teach me things such as science or writing, but they also taught me cooperation, manners, respect, behaving like a good student, and most importantly, giving kindness to others around you,” Yu said.
Junseo Park and Irvin Jayson Jurado were the second and third best students among sixth graders.
Yumin Ahn, the top kindergarten student, said school work and homework have helped her get ready for the next grade level.
“I was not only able to learn many important things, but I was able to make many friends who also love to learn,” Ahn said.
The second honor for the kindergarten class went to Juan Edward Guerrero while Alan Mikhail Matutino, placed third.
LISS principal Wayne V. Pangelinan said he is hoping that the students will “never give up on your education.”
“The world is waiting for you to find your place as young leaders, politicians, doctors, nurses, accountants, pilots, businessmen and women,” he said.
The other members of the kindergarten class are Steven Peter Chaggaris, Franklin Xavier Crisostomo, Justin Laurence Del Rosario, David Kim, Li Lumbana, Aleanah Reylene Seman and Dominic Torres.
The other sixth graders: Jerald Jerome Cabrera, Jonathan Bernard Cabrera, Jershon Carulla, Enrico Dominic del Rosario, Renan Lansang, Ho Jin Lee, Irvyn Matthew Malonzo, Brook Mahailalee Ong, Katsutoshi Pangelinan, and Hong Joo Park.
The other eighth graders: Dong Hee Lee, Jodon Manalo, Ty’Anna Terlaje and Augustin Joseph Wesley.
The ceremony was held in the Hibiscus Hall of the Fiesta Resort and Spa in Garapan.
