Faisao is the special assistant to DCCA Secretary Cecilia Celes.
The governor’s memo did not indicate if Celes went off-island.
“Please be informed that effective immediately, Mr. Melvin L.O. Faisao…is hereby designated as the acting secretary, until further notice,” the governor said
“Please extend your full cooperation to Mr. Faisao as he assumed these additional duties,” he added.
