118 KagES 5th graders head to Chacha

Since it was established in 2002, KagES has been “redirecting” its fifth grade students to Chacha which offers classes for sixth to eighth graders.

During yesterday’s promotion ceremony, Lillu Jean K. Bautista was given the highest honor, the Commissioner’s Award, while Peter C. Santos received the second highest honor, the Principal’s Award.

Viron Tudela Tenorio received the Peace Builder’s Award.

The top 10 students were Lillu Jean K. Bautista, Peter C. Santos, Wenie Timbas, Kerilyn Lizama, Victor Juan Castro, Josepha Cabrera, Marcy Ermitanio, Sage Borja, Vinecia Shana Babauta, and Michael Chong Muna.

Demapan told the students to aim high  and work hard to achieve their goals.

She said there are many challenges affecting the community and “I want them to improve on what they have learned in  school.”

Demapan told students to always make good life choices.

Former Ms Little Marianas Kyla S. Borja, a former Kagman Elementary School student, delivered an inspirational message.

 She is now studying at Chacha.

Acting Associate Commissioner for Administrative Services Tim Thornburgh represented Education Commissioner Rita A. Sablan.

In her message to the parents, Demapan thanked them for their untiring support that helped ensure that their children were successful students.
