“NO High, No Low. Respect To all. Brotherhood / Sisterhood Always Begin with Me.”
The Saipan Maga’Haga Lady Eagles Club, a non-profit all women socio-civic organization led by their president Lady Eagle Angelica Vina V. Lastimado, held their charter night along with induction of new members and installation of chartered officers for eagle year 2022 on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022, at Saipan World Resort.
The event was attended by notable guests, including CNMI Gov. Ralph DLG Torres, first lady Dianne Torres, the governor’s Chief of Staff Wil Castro, Saipan-Guam District Governor Eagle Arvin “Ian” Sales and Second Vice-District Governor Eagle Marcelo “Mar” Masilungan. During the event, Governor Torres and Castro were inducted honorary members of the Saipan Magalahi Eagles Club.
Traditionally, the event is held in person with the presence of the national president and officers in the Philippines. But because of the pandemic, the event was held virtually.
The theme — “No High, No Low. Respect To all. Brotherhood / Sisterhood Always Begin with Me” — echoed throughout the event.
Saipan Maga’Haga Lady Eagles Club President Angelica Vina V. Lastimado delivered her message that night and said:
“Tonight, I am deeply honored and I thank each and every one of you that have supported, guided, and placed their faith on me. I am truly grateful for this opportunity, to represent our incredible organization, The fraternal order of eagles — Philippine eagles, as your charter president.
“This is truly a moment to be honored and cherished to accept the appointment with pride and I will give my very best efforts to make you proud to have selected me with the grace of God and the cooperation of my fellow eagle members, I will devote my time and myself to the obligations and the duties of this post.
“At the end of the year 2022. It is my dream and prayer that we will have transformed these possibilities and opportunities into stories of success and triumph.
“Thank you every one for all your guidance as we drive our new club from here and letting you see the great things we do with it.”
“Mabuhay ang Agila!”
“Long live the Eagle!”
