The Parent Advisory Council, the main organization of all public school PTSAs that serves as an advisory council to the Office of the Commissioner of Education, elected on Friday evening its new set of officers for 2022: John Oliver Gonzales, president; Dr. Rita H. Inos Jr. Sr. High School Counselor Elvira Mesngon, vice president; Oleai Elementary School Vice Principal Alisa Pangelinan, secretary; and Kiki Igitol, treasurer. Gonzales succeeds IT&E Executive Director of Customer Relations Rob Harrell. The election was facilitated by Commissioner of Education Dr. Alfred B. Ada, through Liela Yumul, interim family and community engagement program manager.
