Lawmakers who cannot source out the $8 million shortfall should reconsider their stance opposing AUSTERITY for it is the only solution on the horizon since the government is truly BROKE.
It’s time that all of you concentrate on the people and not politics for ultimately your inaction and opposition to austerity will be the detriment to their livelihoods.
Although we do recognize that our government is in dire need of downsizing the timing is not right. Until such time that our government stabilizes the actual intent and purpose of our Covenant with the United States in achieving a higher standard of living for our homeland and its people, we strongly recommend AUSTERITY measures in place over mass layoffs.
Now, for those of you who voted YES to Public Law 15-15 suspending the employer contributions to the Retirement Fund and ignoring the consequences thereafter — you should be prioritizing this critical issue and find a solution to a problem of your own creation.
