The committee will discuss with the demonstrators about plans and what the committee expects of them during the three-day period.
These people were selected to demonstrate their skills in any of the site activities that will be ongoing during the canoe competitions.
They can also conduct workshops for visitors.
Visitors to Yap during that time can sign up for the workshops.
After acquiring a certain skill, they will then move to the demonstration part where they will apply their knowledge.
Demonstrations will be in canoe building, rope making, sail weaving, voyage food preparation, canoe sailing, canoe paddling and canoe capsizing.
Most of these will be happening on land while the competitions will be ongoing in the water during those three days.
