International FC in 5-game winning streak

Chris Nelson handed Saipan Inter its first goal during the seventh minute of the first half, and Masatoshi Otsuka connected another goal.

The Independents made a series of attempts as they managed to retaliate a number time after a tightened defense halfway to the second half.

However, setting up an aggressive defense earned Independent FC’s Jason Schroeder a yellow card in the eighth minute and Brad Ruszala in the 2nd.

Nelson continued to keep himself in the right spot in the second half giving him the opportunity to hit his second goal in the 15th minute.

Chris Guerrero who replaced Delbert Aguon scored the fourth goal in the 27th minute stretching the lead in the second half and handed the International FC its 4-0 victory.

KFAS 5, Remington 4

 

Korean Football Association of Saipan’s Kim Sung In took the pass from his team mate’s corner kick and made the winning goal to beat the Remington, 5-4.

Gil Chong Koo picked up a foul that put him on the penalty area and scored the first goal early in the first half.

In retaliation, Remington and almost outnumbering the defenders brought the ball too close to the goal in the 27th minute and in the middle of the crowded attack area, Lar Wongpaya fired but blocked by KFAS’s Rhee Jae Wan. But Thoengaket Jeeraphong was waiting face to face with goalie, Choi Yeoung who fell too short to block his attack that tied the game, 1-1.

Sung made two consecutive goals in a span of two seconds helping KFAS gain the ground in the 14th and 16th minutes of second half.

Jeeraphong tied again but Lee Jun Woo gave them another task to tie the game in the 20th minute, which Adam Hardwicke accomplished in the 30th minute.

Jeeraphong added another goal until Sung’s decisive goal.

Matansa 1, Korean Juniors 0

Matansa and the Korean Juniors traded tough defense holding each other scoreless in the first half.

In the 10th minute of the second half, Kamrul decided. A goal from the center turned out to be their winning score beating Korean Juniors, 1-0.
