Team Sokau, according to its coach Tony Lizama has joined the annual softball tournament for the first time. He said they planned to play in the first leg but were also doing the Pohnpei Friendship Softball Tournament at the time.
The other teams that have been seeing actions in the second leg are Falcons, Natibu and Saipal.
Tournament coordinator, Joey Dela Cruz said Saipal and Natibu played in the KQD last year but failed to make it during this year’s first leg.
The four teams that played in the first round last June 13 and 14 were Advance Xterminators, Kulan Zamu, Banzaii and Jets.
Although the Team Banzaii will not be making it this time, the number of teams has increased to seven.
Scheduled to play last night were Natibu vs Sokau, Saipan vs Advance Xterminator and Falcons vs Kulan Zamu.
