The 17-year-old woman was almost drowned when swift by a current on Thursday and drifted towards Aimeliik.
Sgt. Michael Rafael said that the incident was reported to the police on August 20 at 3:04 pm.The teenager was swimming at the popular area of the Koror side of the KB Bridge when the current caught her.The juvenile was rescued later and was transported to the hospital for treatment.Sgt. Rafael said it was low tide at the time so the rescuers were able to spot her and brought her to the shore.
