Sgt. Michael Rafael identified the burglar as Ezra Ngiraked, 23.
Ngiraked was arrested for burglary, grand larceny and trespassing.Rafael said that a security guard called police for assistance on Wednesday at 12:35 am and reported that someone broke into the establishment.The guard reported that the burglar is still inside the establishment.Initial investigation disclosed that the suspect opened one of the windows by force and entered the establishment.The suspect then stole half case of Budweiser beers and was about to escape when apprehended by police.It was the second time that the establishment was burglarized this week.The first burglary incident occurred on Sunday at 12:30 am.The security guard identified as Tohedul Islam was injured during the incident.He was attacked by still unknown suspects.The guard was beaten up and was hit with a hard object in the head.He is still under observation at the hospital.Lt. Aloysius Alonz said that they already have some leads of the suspect and will make arrest soon.Initial investigation show that the burglars stole assorted drinks from the establishment and fled aboard a getaway vehicle.The car was driving on a high speed that caught the attention of the police officers.Police chased the car until the driver abandoned it later and fled on foot.The stolen items were found at the car.
