Mr. Editor, I am not sure why this matter has to be blamed on lack of funding. Mr. Angelo Villagomez is not thinking out all the options. When you set your mindset at the wrong reason, you tend to dismiss the obvious. I say this because it seems to me that the government is an easy target every time a nuisance such as dead stray dogs are discarded all over the island.
You see, Mother Nature, is free for the asking. And, if we just put our thinking caps together, Mother Nature will reward us every time, all the time. Dead dogs or dead animals or dead plants can be turned into compost and when fully decomposed the organic matter can be returned to Mother Nature and from it all will benefit.
The way to make a dead animal or plants turn into a organic compost is very simple. It will take carbon, moisture, and oxygen. All these are free. Let’s take a dead dog for example. You split the abdomen and expose the guts inside. Then lay the carcass flat and cover it with dead plant materials or saw dust. The organism and bacteria in the carcass and the carbon from the organic cover will do the job. This process fits the laws of Mother Nature.
Mr. Angelo Villagomez or Mayor’s Office, do you think this would be the best way to make good of something that is unpleasantly bearable? Think about it. You find good answers if we stay put to Mother Nature’s laws and free services.
Thank you for sharing this idea with those who may have some blockage in problem solving environmental issues.
