BENTLEY Koshiro and Conan Iakopo are leading their respective peewee classes in the Marianas Racing Association 2022 Points Race Series after clinching first place on Jan. 30 at Cow Town Raceway Park.
In the peewee I class, Bentley Koshiro performed flawlessly to top the two-heat race.
Confidence was the key to Koshiro’s perfect run as he put the pedal to the metal once the starting gate dropped. He simply never looked back. The young rider excelled in both heats with two first-place finishes to garner a perfect 50 points.
In second place was Roseha Untalan who also performed steadily in both heats. She finished second twice to earn 44 points while Jarell Untalan ended in third place with 40 points. Ryan Borja did not finish the race.
The peewee II class was a much tougher race with Conan Iakopo coming out on top.
Although the first heat was claimed by Kaleb Reyes, Iakopo stepped up in the second heat to secure overall first place with a total of 47 points. Reyes settled for second place with 45 points followed by Keenon Togawa at third with 42 points and Elleayah Cruz at fourth with 18 points.
