Schedule change
THE Basketball Association of Northern Mariana Islands has changed the time in the game schedule for the IT&E Inter-government & Business Basketball League.
Instead of the usual 7 p.m., the first game of the double header will start at 6:30 starting this week, according to BANMI board member, Abner Venus.
Reyes reelection bid fundraiser
THE committee to reelect Sen. Peter P. Reyes is holding a fundraiser golf tournament on Sept. 26, Saturday, at the Marianas Country Club in Marpi.
Tournament director Juan L. Babauta said the tournament will be on a double Peoria format for the first to fifth place winners, and there will be first place winners for each flight.
There will also be prizes for any one who will shoot a hole-in-one in Hole No. 6.
Closest to the pin will be on Hole Nos. 8 and 12.
Check-in time will be 9 a.m., and tee time, 10 a.m.
