The House of Taga is a Latte stone site and a tourist attraction on Tinian.
“The community made good suggestions on maintaining historical sites,” HPO staff archaeologist Ronnie Rogers said.
He added that residents who work at historical site projects inquired about salary increases and other fund-related issues.
Rogers did not elaborate.
HPO held a similar meeting at the Coastal Resources Management Office in San Jose, Saipan yesterday.
HPO said these meetings allow residents to comment and inquire about the office’s expenditures and projects.
