Man denies assaulting others with an air gun

Donald “Noch” Daywolf appeared for arraignment on September 14 and pleaded not guilty to attempted assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and malicious mischief charges.

Daywolf was ordered to stay away from the victim after he was released from custody after posting $200 surety bond.Daywolf appeared with Public Defender Jason Shaw while Assistant Attorney General Tony DeRuiz appeared on behalf of the government.Daywolf’s status conference is set for October 8 at 2 pm.Daywolf was charged for attempting to assault the victim with an air gun at the victim’s residence and for throwing a rock at the victim’s front door.The affidavit of probable cause stated that the victim came to the victim’s house in Sakurakai on December 29, 2008.The document stated that defendant was drunk when he came to the victim’s residence and tried to take one of the vehicles.The defendant was accosted and was told to leave the premises.The defendant threw a rock at the front door breaking the glass and started shooting up the house with a 22 caliber air gun.The document stated that one of the shots almost hit the victim’s daughter in the face.
