Marsei Orrukem, who is with the patrol division, is facing two criminal cases.
In the first case, he was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, and drunken and disorderly conduct.In the other case, he was charged with aiding and abetting assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, and drunken and disorderly conduct.He appeared in court for arraignment and pleaded not guilty.He is set to appear again in court on Oct. 8 at 2 p.m.According to the prosecution, Orrukem assaulted Allen Takada and Cosby Kelmal in two separate occasions.Takada was assaulted in the restroom of Sunset Park restaurant on Aug. 1, the prosecution stated.It added that the victim’s face hit a concrete wall when Orrukem pushed him hard from behind.Kelmal was assaulted on July 17 while walking on his way home.Orrukem approached the victim and punched him in the face, the prosecution stated.Orrukem’s companion, a juvenile, got out from the car and assaulted the victim with a knife, the prosecution added.
