Ngirametuker Aldan Sebuu was charged with forgery and perjury for forging his birth certificate so that he could obtain a passport to enter Guam.
Sebuu applied a Palauan passport using the name of Sammy Aldan Skibang.The affidavit of probable cause stated that he attempted to enter Guam sometime in February under a passport bearing the name of Sammy Skibang.The affidavit stated that Sebuu was fingerprinted pursuant to his entry into Guam and his fingerprint showed his correct identity as Ngirametuker Sebuu.The court document stated that his true identity revealed that he was convicted of child abuse and assault and battery.The document further stated that Sebuu was denied entry into Guam and was sent back to Palau.The incident was reported to the Ministry of State on February 26.According to the court document, Sebuu obtained a birth certificate on February 16, 2009 with a name of Sammy Aldan Skibang.Sebuu used the forged birth certificate to verify the information on his passport application.The document stated that Sebuu swore and affirmed that the information contained in the application was true and correct before a passport agent who was an administering official and who was authorized to administer an oath.Sebuu appeared for arraignment on September 11 and pleaded not guilty to the charges.He posted $500 surety bond and was released from custody.His status conference is set for October 9 at 9:45 am.
