E&E outscores Mythical Five, 82-80

Both teams ended the first quarter in a 16-16 deadlock.

With combined 17 points, Ocampo and Marj Francisco put E&E out of Mythical Five’s reach in the second quarter even as B. Arreza rampaged with 10 points.The Mythical Fives tightened their grip on E&E limiting their opponent’s scoring hands to Ed Cosino in the third quarter. In this quarter, L. Factor sizzled with 18 points handing Mythical Five a two-point lead.The game went neck and neck as fourth quarter started Tobias and Arreza firing shots fire from outside the rainbow line while Morales and Ocampo paced E&E with two-pointers.Arreza and L. Factor led Mythical Five’s shooting spree firing 28 and 26 points respectively.

Westco 99, Triple J 74     Nelson Samson bombarded Triple J with 11 points including a three-pointer in the first quarter and Bobby Vargas riddled their opponents with 12 of his 27 points in the third quarter handing Westco its 99-74 victory.Olan Tengco also fired from behind the arc and helped set the strong lead in the first quarter.Jeff Pagarao mounted the attack in the second quarter for Triple J and closed the lead in the second quarter.Vargas went unstoppable in the third as pulled Westco away towards the end of the third quarter.With Fidel Cariño, Danny Ilahi and Joel Javier backing him up, Vargas continue to bury Triple J with a two-figure lead in the final quarter and secured Westco’s victory. Scores: E&E 82 – M.
