Department of Community and Cultural Affairs’ Sports and Recreation Sports coordinator, Derron Flores said they have already listed 25 teams and they continue to get people interested to join the competition that will be held at the Gilbert C. Ada Gym.
Flores said team managers and coaches will gather for a final meeting tomorrow, Sept. 11 at 2 p.m., at the Ada Gym conference room. The organizing committee, he said will collect the final rosters and $20 fees per player.
Each interested team he said can have a maximum of eight and a minimum of four players.
For the first time among the island’s sports community, Saipan Electronic Dart Association is collaborating with the Sports and Recreation. SEDA has been organizing dart and billiards competitions among local bars annually. The group also participates in off-island tournaments the recent one was in Singapore.
