Surangel led the whole three quarters of the match but saw it dwindled in the last canto as their challenger Palasia took the driver seat courtesy of Jojo, Arnel, and Nathan who topscored for their team with 14, 18, and 15 respectively to tie the score at 85 – 85. However, Surangel’s guard, Arnel was left wide open on the wings standing beyond the arc on the next possession which he drained a three point shot to end Palasia’s run with a final tally of 88 – 87. Pingot, Arnold, and Arnel topscored for Surangel with 24, 13, and 19 output.
In the government division, MPIIC did not give any chance to Spiders team to get back on the game as they were able to the educators with 78 – 63.
