(SCC) — The clock is ticking for students in the Northern Mariana Islands: there are only three days left to apply for the Saipan Chamber of Commerce scholarships. The final deadline to submit all completed applications is Friday, Aug. 1, 2025, by 12 noon. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
The SCC encourages all eligible students, including graduated high school seniors, current Northern Marianas College students, and Northern Marianas Technical Institute students, to submit their applications as soon as possible.
Each year, the Chamber awards two prestigious scholarships:
• The Educational College Scholarship
• The Educational Pellegrino Scholarship
Both scholarships aim to support academic excellence, encourage career development, and invest in a more robust local workforce. They are open to students pursuing degrees or certifications in any field of study.
“For over a decade, the Chamber has proudly supported promising students in the Northern Marianas,” said Kimm Camacho, executive director of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce. “Through these scholarships, we reaffirm our commitment to building a stronger, smarter, and more sustainable CNMI.”
The scholarships are made possible through the generous support of SCC members, business sponsors, and ongoing community fundraising efforts.
