(NMI Judiciary) — On Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021, the judiciary informed employees on Tinian that an employee at Kotten Tinian tested positive for Covid-19. The Judiciary also informed Tinian Mayor Edwin P. Aldan of this recent development.
In response to the confirmed case, the CNMI Supreme Court ordered the closure of Kotten Tinian effective immediately until Monday, Dec. 6, 2021, for disinfection purposes. The safety of judiciary employees and court patrons continues to be the number one priority of the judiciary.
“The judiciary continues to follow the Governor’s Covid-19 Task Force’s guidance and would like to ensure employees and court patrons the judiciary is taking all the necessary steps to mitigate the spread of Covid-19 on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota,” said Director of Courts Sonia A. Camacho.
