IN a defining moment for the Northern Mariana Islands’ journey toward community rebuilding and educational revival, EUCON International University is proud to announce that Ms. Angeline Orsini has been awarded the first-ever Indigenous Bachelor’s Scholarship. This scholarship not only recognizes her perseverance and vision but also symbolizes EUCON’s unwavering commitment to empowering the indigenous peoples of CNMI through higher education, moral development, and community transformation.
As a local woman who has dedicated years to public service in healthcare, social welfare, and public health, Angeline’s story is both powerful and inspiring. She has spent much of her life serving others, often at the expense of her own aspirations. Now, she is stepping forward — not only for her own personal growth but also for the future of the islands.
“I hope to one day start my own organization and company to uplift and support our local community. I believe education is the key to change, and I’m ready to embrace the challenge,” Angeline Orsini said.
Angeline will pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration, a path that represents not just an academic journey, but a mission of hope and renewal for the CNMI.
Investing in indigenous talent to rebuild CNMI’s foundation
The Indigenous Bachelor’s Scholarship, launched by EUCON International University, is specifically designed to support indigenous groups such as the Chamorro and Carolinian people. This initiative aims to cultivate future leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals through higher education.
The scholarship offers 50 full-ride opportunities across five key bachelor’s degree programs:
• Bachelor of Education
• Bachelor of Music
• Bachelor of Business Administration
• Bachelor of Golf Management
• Bachelor of Biblical Studies
Selected scholars will receive full tuition coverage and gain access to comprehensive post-graduation support from EUCON’s entrepreneurship center — helping them launch local businesses, nonprofits, or community-based initiatives.
“We’re not just helping indigenous students earn degrees — we’re investing in their futures, as leaders, innovators, and rebuilders of CNMI.” Dr. Christian Wei said, president, EUCON International University
