King-Hinds reschedules Rota community conversation event

U.S. Congresswoman Kimberlyn King-Hinds has announced a new date for the Rota stop of her “From the Hill to the Vill: Community Conversations” series, rescheduled to Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2025, in recognition of the state funeral arrangements for the late Governor Arnold I. Palacios.

“These events are an opportunity for us to talk and for me to listen to what you need from your Congressional Office,” said Congresswoman King-Hinds. “But this is also a time of reflection for our islands. Out of respect for Governor Palacios and those gathering to honor his legacy, we are adjusting the schedule for Rota.”

The updated schedule for the community conversations is:

• Rota | Wednesday, Aug. 7

Rota Mayor’s Office Conference Room

6 p.m.–7 p.m.

• Tinian | Monday, Aug. 5

Tinian Youth Center

6 p.m.–7 p.m.

• Saipan | Tuesday, Aug. 13

Kagman Community Center

6 p.m.–7 p.m.

Residents are encouraged to attend and engage in open conversation with Congresswoman King-Hinds about federal issues, priorities, and how her office can better serve the people of the CNMI.
