AS a real Political Scientist who doesn’t let emotions get in the way, I can tell voters without any doubt that the GOP is literally taking all of us-regular folks for “granted, for fools and even for being stupid.” The recent outburst by the DL Guerrero Brothers is the application of their same OLD strategy of “divide & conquer using emissaries to create a bandwagon to win.” I KNOW who their “king-maker” is and his name doesn’t matter but I know his strategy that has been used in the past three gubernatorial elections. I know from my personal experiences why there are TWO Republicans running for Governor.
The plan is to create a “run-off” and the losing GOP candidate will support the other thus giving them the advantage and a win in the run-off. I witness this personally when former GOP Governor Babauta PROMISED me that he would support Independent candidate Heinz in the runoff but he ended up supporting the GOP, thus the Republicans retained power. He really taught me a lesson about believing Republicans who will stab you in the back while smiling in your face so don’t trust either Republican Candidate for Governor if you want what is good & best for the CNMI.
Arnold & Dave are using their emissaries “Paduna and his brother” to start the bandwagon rolling. It saddens me that they CLAIM to be devoted Democrats when they go public with something that should have remained within the Party about their concerns. If they had truly cared about the Party, they would have put forth a genuine effort to talk to the chair privately and not these public character assassination attempts. The meeting was just to try and make A&D look good by reaching out but now WE the People are seeing the real reason that A & D called for the meeting just to set the conditions to create havoc on the Party.
They seem to think WE can’t see through all the smoke & mirror politics they are invoking on the Democrat Chairwoman because they can’t lay a glove on Rep. Tina Sablan nor any of the Democrats who have done nothing but the RIGHT-THINGS from day one. Voters will be voting for the Democrat Candidates, not the Party Chair & Vice so PLEASE don’t fall for this OLD Republican Bandwagon trick of divide and conquer by making sure Rep. Tina Sablan and her running mate get the majority in the election and avoiding a run-off to kill the GOP’s plan.
For 40 YEARS Paduna has been in politics, and A & D have been in politics for around 30 YEARS and you would think they would step aside now that the GOP is clearly on the ropes with a potential “KNOCK-OUT” looming figuratively. The coming election is about NEW & BETTER and not keeping the same old GOP in POWER. A&D have said only one thing about “restoring trust and integrity and giving back the government to the People.” Well, A & D need to know that WE the People already OWN the Government and don’t need their help and furthermore, WE are sick and tired of the same people making the same OLD mistakes. The GOP has used “picnic-table politics, economics and sociology that have gotten us nowhere over the past two decades as the CNMI’s economy is right back where we started when the Garment Industry left — for TRUE! Your time is UP A&D as the Bandwagon Days are OVER! One people One Direction for Democrats!
