I AM a CNMI retiree and I appreciate the extra funds ($500) coming from the current administration and I am sure that everyone else do as well especially during the Christmas Holidays.
I am not against it but I heard that hundreds of our People have NOT yet received their so called “Stimulus Checks.”
I wish I was wrong but I have confirmed that there are hundreds of our poor people that are still waiting for their federal assistance that is due to them.
I challenge all current elected leaders to do a survey on the number of our People who have not received the complete amount of stimulus funds specified by former President Trump and as part of President Biden’s stimulus funds which total $3,200 per adult, tax and non-tax filers/payers.
All I am asking is please help our people especially those that have not received their share of the stimulus funds from the federal government.
