NMI golf team may practice at Laolao Bay, Coral Ocean

THE CNMI Federation of Golf Associations is considering Laolao Bay Golf & Resort and Coral Ocean Golf Resort as  practice venues for local players who will represent the islands in the 2022 Pacific Mini Games.

The federation’s vice president and one of the team members, JJ Atalig, said this Friday, they will be introduced to their coaches and discuss their practice schedule.

 The goal is to build a strong team, he added.

Besides Atalig, the other members of the CNMI’s adult male golf team for the 2022 Pacific Mini Games are Peter “Dung” Tenorio, Joe Kamikaze Camacho and Franco Santos.

The adult female team members are Niramai Koebel, Rose Rohriner and Janet Torres while the junior male team members are Li Zhi Yun, Joshua Atalig, Antonio DLG Norita and Joey “Kazu” Dela Cruz Jr. As for the female junior team members, they are Zhimin Jin and Soarin Oh.

Coral Ocean Golf Resort is the golf venue of next year’s Pacific Mini Games.
