HONOLULU (BoH) — Bank of Hawaiʻi is proud to announce that it has been recognized as one of Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces by State in 2025, earning a top-tier 5-star rating for its commitment to employee satisfaction and workplace excellence.
This prestigious recognition highlights Bank of Hawaiʻi’s continued dedication to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and rewarding work environment for its employees. The ranking is based on a comprehensive study conducted by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group, which evaluated companies through more than 400,000 employee interviews and over 4.9 million company reviews nationwide.
“We are honored to represent Hawai‘i and be among America’s greatest workplaces,” said Bank of Hawai‘i Chairman and CEO Peter Ho. “What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that it comes from the voices of our own employees. It reflects the culture our employees have built together — one rooted in collaboration and a shared commitment to serving our community.”
The evaluation considered over 100 key performance indicators related to employee satisfaction, including work-life balance, compensation, career development, and workplace culture. The study placed particular emphasis on feedback from employees residing in the same state as the companies they evaluated.
