Covid-19 vaccine available to 5- to 11-year-olds

(CHCC) — The Commonwealth Healthcare Corp., with guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration, is offering 5- to 11-year-olds the Pfizer-BioNTech CoviD-19 vaccine at the multi-purpose center vaccination site starting Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021.

The multi-purpose center is open Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to administer Covid-19 vaccines to persons aged 5 and older. Register for a shot online at www.vaccinatecnmi.com

Parent consent forms are required for minors who are unaccompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and are available at www.vaccinatecnmi.com

It is requested that a valid government issued ID or birth certificate be presented at the time of registration.

School-based vaccination is being planned at selected schools, to be announced at a later date.
