THREE men were arrested for burglarizing Imperial Pacific International LLC’s warehouse, police said.
The Department of Public Safety received a 911 call regarding a possible burglary at a warehouse in Chalan Piao on Wednesday, Nov. 10, around 3:39 p.m., DPS spokesman Dre Pangelinan said in a media statement.
At the scene, police met with a staff member of the warehouse who told police that the facility was burglarized and multiple items were missing. These included car parts, air-conditioning units, tools and tool boxes approximately worth $8,300, police said.
On Nov. 12, based on tips received by DPS, a possible suspect was identified as Manny Camacho Jr.
Pangelinan said Camacho, 21, was brought in for questioning and admitted his involvement. He was booked and detained.
Police then arrested Matthew Duenas, 30, and Donivin Chargualaf, 24, who also admitted to burglarizing the warehouse, Pangelinan said.
On Nov. 13, Superior Court Associate Judge Wesley Bogdan signed and issued a warrant for the arrest of Camacho and set the bail at $15,000.
Two days later, the judge signed and issued an arrest warrant for Duenas and Chargualaf on the charges of burglary and theft with bail set at $15,000 each. The warrant was executed on the same day.
Following the bail hearings on Monday and Tuesday, the three defendants were remanded to the custody of the Department of Corrections and were ordered to return to court for a preliminary hearing on Nov. 24, and for arraignment on Dec. 6.
