Now on their 43rd year here in the Marianas, Hyatt Regency Saipan is the first international hotel on the island.
Since it started, Hyatt has made it clear to the community that it is established not just as a business, but the island’s partner in both the good times and the bad.
With the slogan “We care for people so they can be their best,” the hotel has been part of the island’s most trying times such as the recent Typhoon Yutu where it served as a temporary shelter for community members whose homes were destroyed.
“Hyatt’s purpose is built on care. This is the DNA and core of Hyatt’s purpose. We believe that care comes from a place of being in somebody’s shoes and authentic human connection,” its Marketing and Communications Manager Bea O’Malley said.
She said the staff at Hyatt welcome guests and visiting community members in a personal manner.
“We ask them where they come from or how their trip was. We engage with them, welcome them like we would a friend or a family member, connect with them, ask them where they’re from and how we can be of help during their stay. The more we get to know them, the more we know how to make the most of their stay and deliver a personal experience,” she said.
5-star service
As a 5-star hotel, Hyatt Regency Saipan offers an atmosphere of relaxation, tranquility, and to sum it all up, a resort lifestyle where it is forever summer.
Suites and rooms are available to cater to guest preference. This includes Presidential, Executive and Regency suites and for rooms, Ocean View or Garden View guest rooms with balcony.
Situated across from the Micro Beach, guests can instantly enjoy a walk by the white sandy beaches of the Marianas or dip in the crystal blue waters of the surrounding waters.
Hyatt Regency Saipan has a variety of places to enjoy a sumptuous meal with five outlets in operation: Kili Café & Terrace for local and international dishes, Miyako Japanese Restaurant, Giovanni’s Italian Restaurant, Skipper’s Beach Bar for cocktails and bar bites, and DJ’s Corner for cake orders, freshly made coffee, pastries, sodas and snacks.
A message of gratitude
The management and staff of Hyatt Regency Saipan is grateful to the community for the support they have given them for the past 43 years and the intend to continue to strengthen the hospitality industry in the Marianas for many years to come.
“Hyatt is a global hospitality brand that is driven by care: to care for people so they can be their best. By being there for our colleagues, the community and especially for our guests, we persevere to deliver distinct experiences and open opportunities that show how listening and understanding goes long way,” O’Malley said.
Hyatt Regency Saipan’s commitment to this purpose is evidenced by the 60-year history of high standards and quality implemented in all Hyatt hotels and brands.
Worldwide, Hyatt’s portfolio of 20 premier brands spanning from more than 1,000 hotels, all-inclusive, and wellness resort properties in 68 countries across six continents including the Hyatt Regency Saipan speaks strongly of what the Hyatt brand and its standard is – excellent and exemplary.
“We will continue to ensure that Hyatt Regency Saipan echoes the same top-of-the-line service that all our other international brands offer,” O’Malley said.
