ATKINS Kroll Saipan unveiled its sixth-generation 2026 Toyota RAV4 on Wednesday, highlighting its entry into Toyota’s hybrid lineup and emphasizing “green element,” fuel economy, cutting-edge technology, and versatility.

Atkins Kroll Saipan General Manager Tracy Guerrero and Sales Manager Kevin Barnes introduced America’s best-selling compact SUV to the media at the AK showroom in Puerto Rico. Along with AK sales consultants Mark Sablan, Liz Taylor, Jay Santos, Didi Woodruff, and Kim Calage, they presented a Limited Edition model offering a fresh new look and feel inside and out.

Guerrero expressed excitement about the benefits the hybrid brings to the islands’ environment, including decreased carbon emissions and other advantages of hybrid technology. In a written statement, she said, “The advantages of owning a RAV4 hybrid are clear. Hybrids offer benefits such as reduced greenhouse gas emissions, cleaner air quality, efficient energy use, advanced technology, and long-term cost savings on fuel.”

Barnes highlighted Toyota’s reputation for reliability and safety. He noted that the hybrid RAV4 is a step toward Toyota’s goal of having at least one-third of its vehicles be hybrid by 2030. “Moving forward, all RAV4s will be hybrid, with no more gas-powered models,” he said.

He added, “We have seen that happen with Venzas, we watched that happen with Siennas, and we watched that happen with Camrys.”

Barnes called the sixth-generation RAV4 “the biggest remodeling” the model has ever undergone, citing new exterior and interior designs, the Toyota Star Safety System with enhanced vehicle stability control, traction control, electronic brake-force distribution, brake assist, anti-lock braking, and Smart Stop Technology, in addition to hybrid-specific safety features.

Notable features include distinct LED taillights, a spacious interior, a Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen, digital gauge cluster, dual Qi wireless chargers, USB-C ports, rear 1,500-watt AC power outlet, SofTex-trimmed seats, heated and ventilated front seats, panoramic glass roof with power tilt/slide moonroof, and a foot-activated power liftgate.

In a statement, Barnes said, “The sixth-generation RAV4 is the perfect compact SUV for island driving, offering even better MPG ratings for fuel efficiency and savings.” The Limited Edition all-wheel-drive model starts at around $54,099.
