(CEDA) – Small businesses seeking help applying for loans through the Marianas State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) program under the Commonwealth Economic Development Authority (CEDA) can now visit the new Technical Assistance Program office at the CEDA Building in Oleai.
The new walk-in resource center is open Monday through Friday, except holidays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. SSBCI Technical Assistance Contractor Celena Kalp and Business Development Specialist Dexter I. Brennan are available to guide entrepreneurs through every step of the loan application process at no cost.
With $18 million available to support bank-driven loans for small businesses in the CNMI, entrepreneurs are encouraged to visit the office for help navigating the Marianas SSBCI program.
“Many talented entrepreneurs in our community have great ideas but get stuck on paperwork or don’t know the program exists,” Kalp said. “We’re here five days a week to change that—just walk in or call.”
