Sonnie Sablan, co-owner of Inas’ Kitchen and 2019 Saipan Young Professional of the Year Nominee, is no stranger to the importance of vocational education. As a graduate of the Western Culinary Institute Le Corden Bleu Program and a native of Saipan, Sablan is an example of how vocational education positively contributes to our economy and community.
“We’re proud that the Scholarship Golf Tournament is funding the next generation of vocational scholars, just like Mr. Sablan, to help create more locally grown businesses and careers,” shared chair of the SCC Golf Tournament Shayne Villanueva. “Inas’ Kitchen is a small business that has stepped up in a big way, and we’re grateful for their support of our tournament and our scholars.”
The SCC Scholarship Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, May 22, 2021. Registration forms for players are available for download at www.saipanchamber.com/events
