Introducing the CNMI’s first beverage brand: Samson

SAMSON Hsieh has created the first ever CNMI branded beverage — Samson.

Samson’s beverages include spring water, Assam black tea, green tea, lemon tea, milk tea and coffee.

Samson’s cold coffee is available in vanilla, mocha, and original café flavors. The milk tea flavors are Oolong, Assam, brown sugar, coffee, and peach while the Samson tea flavors are green tea with honey, Assam black tea and lemon tea.

They will soon to be distributed in the mainland U.S.,” Hsieh said.

The tea beverages are manufactured in Taiwan using fresh tea leaves while the spring water comes directly from a spring also in Taiwan.

Hsieh said he works closely with the manufacturers in Taiwan and ensures that each drink is made from fresh ingredients.

Born and raised on Saipan, Hsieh obtained his degree in business finance from San Francisco State University and  returned to the island in 2017 to manage their family restaurant. However, due to the pandemic three years later, the restaurant eventually closed.

Hsieh, however, continued to pursue his long-time dream which is to have his own brand and succeed as an entrepreneur.

“I have always wanted to have my own business ever since I was in middle school,” Hsieh said.

He said he created beverages that community members are already familiar with. “The difference is that my drinks are healthier,” he added.

“I know the community loves these teas. Assam tea, lemon tea, green tea. They have been in the market for a long time now and people love them. So why not create something with less sugar?”

He said he knows many friends who have been diagnosed with hypertension or diabetes.

“Diabetes is one of the killer diseases in the CNMI. I have the community’s health in mind when I created Samson beverages,” he added.

You can purchase Samson beverages at XO, LJ’s and Joeten Superstore.

Hsieh is also accepting resellers and distributors. For more information call him at (670) 287-3306 or emailSamson-H1@hotmail.com/.
