(MVA) — Riman Cosmetics of South Korea recently hosted its top sales representatives in the Marianas, one of the first Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions or MICE large group tours to the destination since before the pandemic. One hundred top sales reps of the company were on Saipan on April 20-24, 2022.

Marianas Visitors Authority Managing Director Priscilla M. Iakopo said the group chose the Marianas based on the destination’s strong emphasis on community and guest safety throughout the pandemic and its inter-agency Covid response system, as well the destination’s natural beauty.

“Based on our demonstrated ability to manage and respond to Covid, as originally outlined under our travel bubble agreement with Korea, there is confidence in the Marianas as a destination for even large group tours,” said Iakopo. “The resumption of MICE travel 1s welcomed, and MVA is actively negotiated for similar group trips in the corning months.”
The group arrived from Seoul and Busan, Korea, on April 20 & 21 and departed on Sunday, April 24. MVA welcomed the group at a reception dinner at Pacific Islands Club Saipan, where they lodged during their stay. Hana Tour coordinated the tour.
