Workshops for small business owners

CNMI-SBDC Director Gary Liddle said during the recent Saipan Chamber of Commerce meeting that the center will help business owners see their businesses in a new and different light that they have not seen before.

“We have over 20 different workshops that we can customize to address and fit the specific needs of the different businesses, and we can customize the workshops to fit your time and schedules,” Liddle said.

He said the workshops include:

Counseling programs

Liddle said the center also offers counseling on  business starting/acquisition, source of capital, marketing/sales, government procurement, accounting and records, financial analysis/cost control, inventory control, engineering, personnel, computer system, international trade, business liquidation/sale, technology and other topics.

“We urge you to avail of these workshops because these will guide you and help you make changes if any is needed to expand your businesses,” Liddle said.

He also invites business owners to visit the SBDC office at the Department of Commerce Building on Capital Hill.
