DESPITE the across-the-board budget cuts, Rep. Joel Camacho said he will continue to implement his community projects that, among other things, encourage the youth to be involved in physical activities.

“Unfortunately we have been cut so much that I had no choice but to reduce services,” he said.

“But I am doing what we can although we have not enough funds to continue moving forward with our projects.”

He said his office will “not give up despite all that is happening on Saipan.”

He added, “We as a community will remain strong in these trying times.”

Recently, Camacho said his office completed the cleanup and repainting of the basketball court in As Matuis.

The project, he added, was completed before the budget cuts kicked in.
