(CPA) — On July 5, 2020, a Star Marianas Air flight called the Saipan Air Traffic Control Tower to report that the aircraft was having landing gear issues.

The flight did not land on Saipan but rather returned to land on Tinian instead, reported the Commonwealth Ports Authority personnel who overheard the radio transmission. The aircraft successfully landed in Tinian and remains there for maintenance. No alert was declared.
