YANTZE Corporation has sued American Sinopan LLC in federal court for not paying for the construction of Heaven II Hotel on Capital Hill.

Yantze Corp, through attorney Mark Scoggins, is demanding payment of at least $80,000, saying that American Sinopan breached the construction agreement the parties signed in Oct. 2017.

Under its construction contract with the defendant, Yantze said it agreed to provide construction contracting services for the Heaven II Hotel facility on Capital Hill.

The company wants the District Court for the NMI to issue an order awarding Yantze actual damages in an amount to be proven at trial.

In addition, Yantze is demanding an award of pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney’s fees, and other relief.

American Sinopan was unjustly enriched by the services provided by Yantze Corp., Scoggins added.

He stated that the sole member of American Sinopan LLC is Imperial Pacific Real Estate & Hotel Management Company Limited, a British Virgin Islands company.
