THE Saipan Unity Lions Club and the Saipan Unity Teen Leos Club conducted a cleanup drive at Tanapag Beach on Sunday morning.

The trash they collected included paper plates, soda cans, cigarette butts and other picnic garbage.

Saipan Unity Lions Club marketing communications chair Eva Cuevas said they conduct a beach cleanup on the last Sunday of the month.

“We adopted the Tanapag area for our regular cleanup,” she said, adding that they hope beachgoers will help maintain the cleanliness of the beach.

Saipan Unity Lions Club president Alicia Barbo, first vice district governor Atoy Banting, and Saipan Unity Teen Leos Club president Vicky Ancheta were among those who participated in the cleanup.
