THE Senate Committee on Fiscal Affairs will hold a budget hearing today, Tuesday, for the Public School System, starting at 1:30 p.m. in the Senate chamber.

PSS has requested a $40 million budget, but the administration could propose $20.6 million only for the school system.

The projected revenue available for government appropriations in fiscal year 2021 is $82.6 million.

Chaired by Senate Vice President Jude U. Hofschneider, the committee members are Senate Floor Leader Justo Quitugua, Sens. Francisco Borja, Francisco Cruz, Sixto Igisomar, and Vinnie Sablan.
