THE House of Representatives last week presented a framed copy of House Commemorative Resolution 21-10 to the family of the late Francisco “Magas” Deleon Guerrero Cabrera.

Rep. Luis John DLG Castro said the House paid tribute to Cabrera, the founder and creative director of 670 Rock Steady Shop and the creative force behind the Mågas/Stressfree clothing brand.

The resolution also recognizes Cabrera’s contributions to the local business sector and to the island community.

Cabrera passed away on Nov. 25, 2019 at the age 41.

Castro noted that Cabrera’s 670 Rock Steady Shop is a “hot spot for those who want contemporary Marianas fashion and gift items.”

Castro said Cabrera was a “philanthropist, donating to various causes throughout the local community.”

And through his desire to give our youth an opportunity to flourish and develop their skills, he helped in establishing a workforce of young entrepreneurs eager to provide for their families and contribute to the growth of our local economy,” Castro added.

Frank lived a full life and was one who undoubtedly left his mark on our culture, our economy, and our community. I have shared many memories with him personally and I am forever indebted to the encouragement and friendship he gave me in the past. My family, staff and I extend our condolences to his wife May, their children, and their loved ones as they mourn the passing of their beloved husband, father, brother, son, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend,” Castro said.
