THE Covid-19 pandemic has temporarily — in some cases permanently — closed many businesses on island, but  Rica Lozarito continues to serve her customers while complying with safety protocols.

A senior hairstylist and makeup artist at Mary’s Beauty Shop in Garapan, Lozarito said she has been visiting her customers at their homes.

She said besides wearing a face mask and practicing good personal hygiene, she also sanitizes her tools.

“Safety first,” she added.

She believes she has many loyal customers because she is always introducing new hairstyles.

“Hair styling is an art,” she said, “and I want my customers to look like beautiful works of art.”
