KEITH Chambers II was sworn in by CNMI Supreme Court Chief Justice Alexandro Castro on Tuesday morning as the newest member of the local bar.

Chambers is also admitted to practice law in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia.

He has been Superior Court Associate Judge Joseph N. Camacho’s law clerk since January 2019.

Chambers said he took and passed the CNMI Bar examination this year.

“I am very excited…and I am looking forward to serving the CNMI community,” he said, adding that it is an honor to be a part of the local bar.

Noting that his contract with the CNMI judiciary will expire in January, Chambers said, “As far as going forward, I just have to wait and see.”

As for Saipan, Chambers said, “It is a beautiful island, it is a beautiful place, and have many opportunities.”

Chambers received his law degree with honors from the George Washington University Law School in 2016, and received his bachelor of arts degree from the Florida State University in 2013.
