“We are so glad to see everyone out,” said Valentina Haberman, Triple J marketing manager. “I would like to thank you all for your continuous support.”

The event started with a light Zumba session at 5:15 a.m. hosted by Natalie Cruz so runners and walkers could “loosen” up for the main event. Also, free cold beverages were served to the participants.

The route was from Garapan Fishing Base to the Quartermaster Road intersection and then back to the fishing base. Volunteers tossed brightly colored powder at the participants who, upon reaching the finish line, could enjoy a bubble machine shower.

Ken Song and Annika Snyder were the overall top male and female finishers. Among men, Song clocked an outstanding 18:25 followed by Snyder who came in at 22:18 to take first place in the women’s division.
